Aspects Isolated Animal Organs In Biomedical Contract Research Mediport Biotechnik GmbH, Berlin Mediport Biotechnik GmbH is an innovative start-up company specialised in in vitro assays for biomedical contract research. Test systems offered by Mediport Biotechnik GmbH include cell and tissue cultures as well as complex test systems, like isolated perfused animal organs.  Currently, test systems based on the porcine forelimb and heart are provided by our company. Isolated perfused organ systems can be used for a wide variety of applications, like transdermal resorption (forelimb) or the determination of the effect of substances on electrophysiological parameters of the heart, e.g. QT elongation.
